Overview of WebAssign
WebAssign is a website we use that has your students' book, homework, and classwork. The homework section gives your student 3 chances to get the correct answer before it automatically submits the incorrect answer. WebAssign also offers multiple different ways to understand and practice before you submit an answer. It has videos, practice problems, and takes you directly to the page in the book where the homework is based from.

Classroom Examples
We frequently use WebAssign in our classroom. Using WebAssign is much easier than finding a place to store 30 math books. We use WebAssign for weekly homework, the assignments are due Friday nights, and we use it for in class individual assignments and quizzes.

ISTE Standards Relation
ISTE Standards that WebAssign follows are 1.1.a and 1.3.c. We can see that WebAssign follows 1.1.a based on what students are learning and when. Their learning needs, strengths, and interests to their goals heavily rely on the things they know and the things they do not know yet. WebAssign follows 1.3.c because it contains a variety of tools that students can use to retrieve the information they need to complete the assignment. The students will then hopefully understand how they found the answer and remember the information for later use.

Below is a video I created teaching you how to use WebAssign effectively.
Differentiation
WebAssign is a great website to help students by using differentiation. You can take away and give students resources, so for example a video or practice problems can have access given or taken away by the instructor. This way, the students who are better at understanding the concepts we are talking about in class can use the same amount of time and energy on a problem as someone who may not understand the concept as much and needs a little more help grasping it.
Considerations & Benefits
I want everyone to consider that this is a website you must pay for. Your school district or class must pay to have access to all WebAssign's charms. It does have a lot of benefits such as a variety of ways to teach, multiple tries to get the answer correct, ability to access your textbook at any time, etc. The pros outweigh the cons in my opinion and I think everyone should be using WebAssign.
